Background
In April 2025, Taylors was engaged to support critical repair works for two dust collectors (510 DC01 and 510 DC02) at Bluestone Mines Tasmania Joint Venture — a leading mining operation known for its high-quality tin production. Significant wear and damage were identified during an inspection, requiring the replacement of key components to restore performance and extend the service life of the equipment.
Our Work
Working closely with our sister company Fowlerex, Taylors carried out fan testing, preparation, and shipment of major components from our Christchurch facility. This included the replacement fan housing, impeller, and pedestal for DC02. Each unit was tested to ensure compliance with performance specifications before being dispatched to site.
These works will restore both dust collectors to their original specifications, with improved durability and operational efficiency.
