SRS is a sawmill based in Rolleston, Canterbury, producing timber products for clients across New Zealand. Taylors Manufacturing was engaged by SRS to replace the existing exhaust fan (FB1000) connected to the combustor system. The existing unit had developed noise and vibration issues, the unit needed replacing to improve operational reliability and functionality. In addition to resolving these performance issues, SRS wanted to upgrade the fan’s throughput to improve overall system efficiency.
