Project Overview
As part of a boiler replacement programme, existing boilers at schools across New Zealand had reached the end of their service life and needed replacement. Taylors was engaged to manufacture and install new boiler systems at a number of locations around New Zealand including the boiler picture for a school in Waimate.
Regular maintenance and planned replacement of boilers is important to improve safety and efficiency of the products. For a school site, it was a priority that the upgrades delivered improved performance and compliance while minimising disruption to staff and students. The project focused on replacing aging infrastructure with a safer, more efficient, and more sustainable heating solution suitable for a school environment.
Our Approach
By applying a consistent design and manufacturing approach across multiple boiler upgrades within the programme, the team was able to ensure quality, reliability, and efficiency at every stage. The new boiler systems were locally manufactured by our team to meet current safety and efficiency standards. The upgraded systems provide schools with improved operational performance, increased reliability, and reduced environmental impact through more efficient energy use.
The project reflects Taylors’ ability to lead a project for multiple sites, as well as our consistent knowledge, expertise and fabrication of boilers for New Zealand clients.
