Job #403709

A customer approached Taylors Manufacturing after experiencing premature failure of their pulveriser due to excessive wear in the main housing. Upon investigation, it was found that substandard material had been used in the original equipment, leading to its failure.

Taylors Manufacturing undertook the project to reverse engineer the pulveriser components and fabricate a new unit within 4 weeks. The new pulveriser was constructed using grade 500 wear-alloy material, ensuring durability and longevity. To address future wear issues, the rotor was hard-faced. Additionally, the new design included extra inspection hatches for easier access to equipment parts.

The project was completed on time, delivering a robust and accessible pulveriser to the client. This replacement ensures better performance and reliability, meeting the high standards required for processing marine extracts.
