For over three decades, Balco has been a leading provider of hay for stockfeed, serving the Australian market and primarily exporting to Asia. Recently, the urgent need to improve the work environment and ensure product integrity has become crucial for Balco, underscoring the importance of implementing an advanced dust control solution.
Taylors manufactured the fan, designed by Fowlerex, which is a crucial component of the overall dust control system supplied. Part of the fan fabrication process included the dynamic balancing of the impeller to G2.5 and also the run test to check for any vibration issues. The fan passed the run test in accordance with ISO 14694 with exceptional results achieved and shows Taylors commitment to supplying quality machinery.
This plant upgrade has notably enhanced dust management at Balco, with before-and-after images demonstrating the clear enhancement in the work setting, coupled with highly positive feedback from the team.
